The Waterplace Mixed Use project in Salem, Oregon consists of a 5-story, 42,000 SF Office Building, a single-story retail building and a single story parking garage. The extensive glazing and open spaces were achieved with steel special moment frames. Architectural precast concrete panels and integrated sunshades enhance the building exterior and a green roof/assembly space over the retail spaces takes advantage of the site’s proximity to Pringle Creek. The project was certified LEED Platinum and has garnered AIA Salem Merit and the Mid-Willamette Valley Green Building of the Year Awards for the Architect, CB | Two.
